Exodus 35:21
and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.

This shows the start of the church really. With everyone getting together and performing all the tasks that need to be done and helping out shows us what we all should be like. Here there is no ill. Help for profit but there is ill help to please the lord! How life should be.

Exodus 34:6
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,

Here the lord our god speaks of his mercy and love with compassion. He let's us know he understands that our human tendencies are to sin but he loves us enough to forgive us when we apologize. He is so kind and passionate that he mentions this many times through the bible. Praise be to god for not letting us rot in our own sin, whome we love he loves us back more and from that love he saves us from ourselves.

Exodus 30:15
The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the Lord to atone for your lives.

This shows that god is fair to all. He obviously will provide if he.gives these rules but everyone is trwated equal so they all must pay equally. This can be applied to today as we all constanrly either our orselves on a pedistal or others Aw never make everyone equal bc some have money, others are broke. Or Aw decide what kind of society we live in and form our barriers between ourselves and people around us sue to opinions of everyone else and judgement. God doesn't so that here he makes us all equal and I beleive he wants us to think and act that way also. A commandment one that stanzas out and is moat important is love your neighbor as yourself. But there's not a lot of either one of those things going on. People are withwe so obsessed with themselves they can't love their neighbor or they are so focused on their neighbor they can't love themselves. I think this was almost foreshadowed in this sentence to what we are like and what god wants from us here today. Doesn't matter how much we make money is worshiped more than god and with this we all lose the beat thing in life.

Exodus 14:25
He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, "Let's get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt."

This again shows the work of God for the isrealites and for us. As we all go through times where we forget that God is with us and we start to have doubts we need to surround ourselves with people who are strong like moses that will remind us to trust god and help us see all he does for us. like the jamming of the wheels god will perform miracles if we allow him to.

And on that very day the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt by their divisions.

This goes to prove that if you do listen to god he will save you. This showed that god does what he says he is going to do and will not go back on his word. We all need to trust and do as the lord god says he only has our best interest in mind. Just like saving the isrealites.

Exodus 11:7
But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.' Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.

God as he does here makes the distinction between those for him and those against him. Many people today go to church and pronounce their faith to others making themselves seem godly and Christian like but, they do it for show. God knows the truth you can't hide that. And god gives us insight if we are readily available to him so we may also make that distinctuon. It may not always come out right away maybe because god is still at work in those people but it eventually comes out. Our job is not only to recognize it but steer clear of it as many of those people try to influence our thoughts as they are the devils hosts trying to manipulate us and change our minds to redirect our visions. I came in contact first hand with this and for that I am thankful god is by my side and steered me back to his direction. prais be to god.

Exodus 10:11
No! Have only the men go and worship the Lord, since that's what you have been asking for." Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh's presence.

This means to me that we put limitations on god and his words. As pharoh does here we have a tendency to make up our own rules on what god says and twist the words around so we can be allowed to do as we want without discrepancy. As pharoah said take the men that's what you ask for we say similar things knowing the truth is not just the men but everyone in this case. An example is though shalt not covet thy neighbors wife well one could say ohhh im exempt bc I'm not covering thy neighbors wife I'm covering their husband or making it so literal by saying ought they aren't my neighbor they just live in the same village. We have a tendency to try to get away with sin and make ourselves feel better about it by restricting gods rules by certain words and trying to get it so those rules don't apply to us so they don't matter and that makes us in the right with God. WRONG! god expects us to follow all the rules as he means them not as we want them to mean.

But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

This passage as well as much of the others in this reading shows mercy from god. He let's pharoah know that yes he could strike all down but he has not because he's given them another chance to save themselves. God doesn't want harm for us but our tempter the evil one, sees it as advantage where he can have his own fun and try to turn our hearts away. God gives his children choices as every good father does, and hope they learned from every expierience like the experiencees pharoah is facing, that his children will chose the right path.
