Exodus 35:21
and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.

What a beautiful scene, thousands of people freely giving to the Lord. God loves a cheerful giver. God blesses us abundantly, and He loves it when we see a need and give freely! Look around you. Is there someone who has a need? Meet that need and watch God bless you!

It was never about the skills or the talents, but it has always been about the willingness to serve our God. The blessing for the servants of the LORD is not great riches but it's being able to serve Him and participating in the kingdom of heaven. Do not be too consumed in yourself and your benefits, use your talents and time to serve the Him faithfully and fulfill your true purpose for this life. We're not going to be here forever, don't build a legacy that will one day perish, but prepare yourself for the life we will have with God for an eternity.

This shows the start of the church really. With everyone getting together and performing all the tasks that need to be done and helping out shows us what we all should be like. Here there is no ill. Help for profit but there is ill help to please the lord! How life should be.

Oh, that the church today had more people who were willing and whose heart moved them to serve the Lord in their churches and in their communities. Lord help us/me to be more willing and to have a heart that is moved to serve you. Amen.

This tells me that everyone will not be willing to give to the work of the Lord, but those who are "willing" are those who allow their heart to speak to them and they listen and respond...Lord let me hear your thoughts in my heart, listen and respond.

this chapter speaks to me as to the nature of the relationship with God - what it ought to be. The phrase "all who were willing..." is used several times in this chapters. The people were presented with an opportunity and they willingly accepted to participate. God presents us with opportunities to participate in His plans everyday, and those who are willing to give of themselves are blessed and 'filled with skill to do all kinds of work"!

Whose heart was willing- that turns me the wrong way- as Christians, our hearts should always be willing- bit then we fall to sin and temptation and we close our heart, even if justfor a short time, to the Lord. I needto make sure that my heart is always open and willing for the Lord our God.
