Exodus 11:4-7 And Moses said, Thus says the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: 5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sits upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that you may know that the LORD does put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
God is saying that He's showing all the people in Egypt that these plagues are a direct result of their leader making bone headed decisions. Politicians don't mind calamity if they can blame it on someone else, but when their sins are revealed to the people and they become angry, they scurry like roaches when you turn on the light.
I believe God makes sure, before He executes judgement, the people will know who is responsible for it. That's what all the Wikileaks were all about last year. God wanted everyone to see what's been going on in secret to be brought out to the light, so there will be no doubt as to why we're receiving judgement. I Peter 4:17 tells us that judgement begins in the house of God. The church has been preaching a "feel good, greasey grace" doctrine, leading people to believe that Jesus is something we just "add to" our life to make it better, with no talk of repentance.
God will not wink at our sin, and He's not some schizophrenic, homophobe that sits up in Heaven taking it and taking it till He can't take it any more, then react in anger. He's patient and wants us to choose to repent and receive His free gift of eternal life. He gives any and all chances to do that.
He's actually not doing anything except removing His covering of blessing and allowing the devil to have free reign. God is an, "if" and "then", God. "If" we do this, "then" God does this. Deuteronomy chapter 28 tells us, in the first 15 verses, "if" we harken to and obey Him, "then", He will bless us. We won't be able to escape His blessings, they'll chase us down. But the rest of the chapter tells us, "if" we DON'T obey Him, "then" curses will overcome us. He lists all kinds of curses, then in verse 61, He says, just in case I left one out, any of the diseases not listed here, will come. If you read thru that chapter, you'll be amazed to see pretty much everything that's not wonderful that's going on on our country today is listed there.
This country was founded in the same principles Isreal set up and dedicated to God. When people immigrated 100 or so years ago, they considered it a privilege and were more than happy to assimilate to our laws and way of life. People got lax and didn't tell their kids about God, and our immigration policies have become lax and people were allowed to come in and keep their own culture thus creating a divided nation. Of course the elite have planned it that way so we'll be weak enough to control and become their slaves.
We've kicked God out of our schools and government and the religion of evolution and humanism has filled the vacuum. Kids are told they came from apes, and there is no God (aka ultimate judgement). We've taken away the sanctity of life thru murdering the unborn and eliminating the death penalty for capital offenses, then we wonder why they're having sex like animals and bringing guns into their schools and shooting the place up. Then we have the audacity to stand back and say, "why did God allow this to happen?" Duh!
Romans 1 tells us that those who exchange the truth of God for a lie, professing to be wise, become fools and begin to worship the creature rather than the creator. These folks will be given over to what they insist on having, and their hearts become seared where they are as Jeremiah 5:21 tells us there's none so blind and deaf as those who won't see and hear.
Make no mistake, no elected official is going to rescue us from judgement. God gives us the leaders we deserve, and if we need a good spanking, God's gonna give us one. If you've hardened your heart to the prompting of God, it's not too late to change. God will NEVER violate anyone's free will. Forced love is rape any way you look at it. If you use your free will to reject God, you automatically are serving Satan, by default. There is no demilitarized zone. There are 2 kingdoms: light=God, darkness=Satan, period. Joshua 24 plainly says to choose this day whom you'll serve. If it seems evil to serve God, then don't serve Him, but as for me and my house, we're gonna serve the Lord.
But you can't serve Him if You don't know how. Hosea 4 and Amos 10 tell us, my people perish for a lack of knowledge of My Word. We're without excuse, we have the owners manual, and we have a choice as to whether or not to read and follow the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Joshua 1:6-8 says be strong and courageous 3 times, but not in your own strength, but by having the Word not depart out of your mouth but to mediate on it day and night and do all according to what's written THEN our way will be prosperous and successful, and God will be with you wherever you go. See, there's the "if"and "then". Jesus said in John 15: 5-7 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. 6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. See, "if" and "then". Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.
Thank You Papa God for laying it out so clear, in Your Word, as to what we should and shouldn't do. Give us the hunger and thirst for Your Word, that we'll continue to always abide in You, in Jesus name, Amen

When we look at this sign, where not a dog will bark. Now think about that for a moment. If you go to a person's home who own a dog, or if any little thing changes in a dogs environment, most dogs will bark unless quieted. Here, not one dog will bark at anything. A sure sign that God silenced the dogs.

God as he does here makes the distinction between those for him and those against him. Many people today go to church and pronounce their faith to others making themselves seem godly and Christian like but, they do it for show. God knows the truth you can't hide that. And god gives us insight if we are readily available to him so we may also make that distinctuon. It may not always come out right away maybe because god is still at work in those people but it eventually comes out. Our job is not only to recognize it but steer clear of it as many of those people try to influence our thoughts as they are the devils hosts trying to manipulate us and change our minds to redirect our visions. I came in contact first hand with this and for that I am thankful god is by my side and steered me back to his direction. prais be to god.

Funny thing is thousands of years later, Egypt and Israel are so distinct to this day. Aside from the 6 day war with Egypt that Israel won, and with all the presecution against them now, they still come out as God's chosen people.
