Leviticus 4:2
"Say to the Israelites: 'When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord 's commands—
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
God made provisions even for unintentional sin.

Leviticus 3:6
" 'If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
These are offerings to a perfect God because of the sins of His people. They are to be as perfect as humanly possible. These sacrifices were made during the times prior to the Perfect Sacrifice of Jesus for our salvation. Today we no longer offer animals for our sins because Jesus became that sacrifice. After we accept Jesus as our Saviour we are to offer ourselves to live for Him and to serve Him.

Leviticus 2:13
Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
All of the grain offerings were to be seasoned with salt. Salt was precious and of great value.
For me, today's verse, along with Matthew 5:13, means that a Christian's life and testimony is of great value to the world. How else will sinners hear about Jesus if Christians don't live as ambassadors for the Christ we represent?
"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

Leviticus 1:4
You are to lay your hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on your behalf to make atonement for you.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
These offerings are looking ahead to the sacrifice that Jesus would make as atonement for our sins. In order to show their faith, the Israelites were to offer the best, most perfect of their flocks. This represented the sacrifice of the PERFECT SINLESS LORD JESUS CHRIST who later lived on this earth and died, taking our sins upon Himself. He offers this atonement freely to all who will believe and accept His gift of atonement. He arose from the dead assuring us of eternal life with Him after our earthly journey is over .

Exodus 40:34
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
Unless God is present in our lives and activities, all is vain. I have a feeling that when these people went to the tent of meeting, they truly worshipped God. God's glory filled the tabernacle! His presence was there and they truly met with Him. Today a Christian's heart is filled with God's glory, too. But, if we aren't careful, too many distractions rob us of the majesty of His glory.

Exodus 39:43
Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
The Israelites worked together and did all the work as God had commanded Moses. God wants His people to work cheerfully, amiably, and with complete devotion to Him. I believe God is pleased when this happens. And no blessings are so sweet as the blessings that come from faithfully serving God.

Exodus 38:18
The curtain for the entrance to the courtyard was made of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer. It was twenty cubits long and, like the curtains of the courtyard, five cubits high,

God is the author of everything beautiful also. These colors are gorgeous when used together. I believe any service done for the Lord should be an example of our very best.

Exodus 37:5
And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
The Ark represented the presence of God in the midst of the Israelites as they journeyed through the wilderness. Everything was made of pure gold or covered with gold, even the seemingly "less important" parts. The poles were essential for carrying the Ark and, even they, were overlaid with gold. In God's service there is no room for pride as to who has the most important work for Him. Every place of service is essential.

Exodus 36:1
So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded."
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
God gives special skill and ability for each person's assignments in life. Every opportunity each day of our life is a preparation for the next day, year or any part of the future. Every day is special. Every assignment is special if done for God. We are to let God guide us in perfecting the talents and gifts He gives us. Then, when God points to us, and says, "I have a job for you," we can say, "Yes, Lord, I am waiting for Your guidance and strength."

Exodus 35:29
All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the Lord freewill offerings for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.
Bobbie M. from Girard, IL said:
God loves a cheerful giver. Everything we are and everything we have is God's. He could force us to give it. But God isn't looking for robots. He's looking for faithful believers who will love Him enough to give back what we have and what we are to Him. We will do it lovingly and willingly and cheerfully.
