Exodus 35: 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses. Moses didn't manipulate the people by begging or coercing them to give. They gave willingly. They gave so much that in the next chapter vs 5-7 says, And they spoke unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. 6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. 7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much. When was the last time you heard someone from a pulpit tell their congregation to stop giving? 😃😆😂😄😅😉 No, that ain't happenin' in any of today's churches. But, the church I go to doesn't coerce, and every building plan we've had, we did do pledges, and paid cash all the way. and the pastor let us know that If the cash stopped, the building would be stopped. Churches get into problems when they go into debt to pay for stuff. Proverbs 22:7 says the borrower is servant to the lender. Where God guides He provides. Papa God, please let Your body focus on the things that are most important to You and not get entangled with the yoke of bondage, in any way, in Jesus name, Amen

This is an example of our tithing today, as we give willingly for the work of the Lord, He keeps us. I can recall when I first committed my life to Christ, I was always overdraft at the bamk each month. I wondered how I would tithe but decided that was what I wanted to do. Within a couple of months, my overdrafts disappeared and I canceled my overdraft account. God sees all that we do for His kingdom and rewards us as He sees fit. Praise the Lord...!!!

Everything we own is a gift from our loving Creator. He asks us to give back to Him to honor Him and show Him we love Him. "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Would you be willing? After all you have seen, my answer of YES..

God wants us to come willing to Him. We are to offer ourselves as His servant to being others to Christ.

the Lord spoke to the people of Israel through Moses and they gave freewill offings for the work on the tabernacle. God is good and guides in what we should do.

To me, this is a sign from the Lord as to how He wishes we would be. Freely giving to one another without reservation. My husband and I have a foster daughter this year, and she will be helping us plant, tend, and harvest our garden. Keep in mind we're not making her, but she wants to do this. We always plant abundantly more than we can eat so that we can give away to families in need. It's just a particular mission we feel God has laid on our heart. I am in no way comparing myself to these men and women, but if more of us were to act this way then I think we would see the poverty rate as well as so many other things go down significantly.

God loves a cheerful giver. Everything we are and everything we have is God's. He could force us to give it. But God isn't looking for robots. He's looking for faithful believers who will love Him enough to give back what we have and what we are to Him. We will do it lovingly and willingly and cheerfully.

All should bring to the Lord what He asks for. The Lord is asking for your heart, soul and life to follow His ways are you willing
