Sins of commission and sins of omission I understand but here we have unintentional sins. Are these sins of ignorance - not knowing what you are doing is sinful? Perhaps many unbelievers are operating this way these days. They just don't know right vs wrong, good vs evil because they haven't been taught and are illiterate of the Bible or their consciences have been seared somewhere along the way.

How often do we sin without knowing we have sinned? Ignorance is no excuse in God's mind. Once our sin is known we must confess it and deal with it. David in Psalm 19:12 prayed, "Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults." Thankfully Jesus has paid the penalty for all of our sins once and for all on the Cross of Calvary. We need to run to Him confessing our sin and thanking Him for His wonderful gift of forgiveness!

We think of sins of commission (intentionally doing what we shouldn't), sins of omission (not doing what we should do) but sins unintentional! - not exactly sure what these are - are they sins of ignorance - don't know that what I am doing is wrong? Perhaps that is what most unbelievers / the world do/does - they just don't know what is right vs wrong and good vs evil - consciences have been seared or they just have know idea that what they do is wrong because they haven't been taught and it seems good or OK because "everyone else is doing i"t !?

I love that God knows our hearts, motives and intents and has a way thru the Holy Spirit to make all things know. I remember a time when I was 'lying for the sake of peace', Didn't think anything was wrong with it; was doing it, I thought, for the right reason. Oh, but when the Holy Spirit revealed to me that a lie is a lie regardless of the reason why, I had to go back and remedy that thing. That is what this set of verses remind me of - God, in His infinite mercy, will make a way.
