As we are aware, there is a political maelstrom going on in our country. People are divided by race, gender, economic level and even sexual preference. We are a social people and use social media to express ourselves in ways that we may have done before. I have seen several times over, slandering of the President the social media outlets and some of the slandering is coming from brothers and sisters in the household of faith. This ought not to be so, we should not speak ill of any one, and right here in the pages of Father's book shows us that we need to rid ourselves of that type of behavior!

I agree! We need to speak words of grace and encouragement. I just read a cool quote from Mr. Cathy of Chic-a-fila. He asked who needs encouragement? He answered his own question - Are they breathing? In other words, everyone needs a word of encouragement. Thanks, Stephanie.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

I find that this verse is one of the most important ones for Christians. The longer I walk with God, the more I find I need His Word. I have never read a book that seems to change every time I open it; yet stays the same. It is fluid, yet solid; it is comforting, yet stern; it is instructive, yet corrective. God's Word, truly is alive and active, it's His Love for us all.

Philemon 1:16
no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord.

That we can be both workers and brothers/sisters in the Lord. My boss could be my sister in the Lord, and while it may be difficult at times; the relationship is based on the knowledge, grace and blood of Jesus Christ. I know that this verse is not saying that, but I think that it may have more to do with a working relationship than not.
