Today we have God's Word as a means by which He speaks to us. In this way we learn to listen to what He commands us to do. His Word is "alive and active" as verse 12 in chapter 4 tells us. It is also "sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the hearts." In 2 Timothy 3:16 we are informed that "all Scripture is God-breathed etc". How wonderful that God is still speaking to us today so we need to pay attention to His Word and obey what we are told. We need to communicate to our Lord and God by praying to Him. How wonderful that God has given us this opportunity to be part of His Family as believers.

Through him you believe in God, who Raised Him from the Dead and Glorified Him, and so your(our) Faith and Hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:5 who through Faith are shielded by God's Power until the Coming of the Salvation that is ready to revealed in the Last Time.
