Deuteronomy 19:15
One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

What a reminder of how important it is to have a balanced understanding of a situation before making a judgement or decision. So many of my wounds have been self-inflicted because I did not have "two witnesses".

How many times have a gone back to something the Lord had told me to stay away from? I must remember, Tim Keller's quote, that "every time I obey God, He is protecting me from something I was not aware of!"
Ego driven decisions to promote myself - craving the praise of man - wanting to exalt myself, the list goes on! God forgive me. Help me not go back that way again. Amen.

I love all these commands. It reminds me that God cares, not only about the big things in my life, but to have complete integrity in the small things. In fact, this shows me that to Almighty God, there are NO small things! I am to fear Him and follow Him for HIs Glory in all things! I have to ask myself, "Where in my life am I not obeying God's Decrees?" Come, Holy Spirit!

It is an example of God protecting us from things that are harmful that we do not understand. The Israelites did not know anything about disease from dead animals. I must obey His Commands through the Holy Spirit in us to be protected and showing our love and respect for God!
His greatest Command is to love him with all my heart and all of my mind and all of my strength and my neighbor as myself. Amen.

This means that if I truly have a relationship with Jesus Christ, I am bullet proof! Nothing can hurt me because if I live, Christ lives through me to others. If I die, I go to be with Jesus. Either way, I am with Jesus Christ which is truly the place of compete joy! Praise Jesus!

This makes all the difference to me! When I serve the Lord, I have an eternal perspective. This places challenges and frustrations so more quickly at the feet of Jesus Christ! That results in His Peace that passes all understanding. My challenge is staying in that mindset. Come, Holy Spirit and help me to serve only Jesus Christ and not people. Amen.

How many times did I wallow in the praise of men and boasted, even indirectly, when everything I had, have now and will have comes from God Almighty? Dear Holy Father, Please forgive my arrogance and self sufficiency. I repent of that today and give You all the glory. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
