This makes all the difference to me! When I serve the Lord, I have an eternal perspective. This places challenges and frustrations so more quickly at the feet of Jesus Christ! That results in His Peace that passes all understanding. My challenge is staying in that mindset. Come, Holy Spirit and help me to serve only Jesus Christ and not people. Amen.

Always in everything you do serve the Lord not people. When you are helping people you are serving the Lord. When you are doing ordinary everyday things like laundry,cooking,cleaning,going to work,paying bills ,you should be doing these things for the Lord with a glad heart and a good attitude. Let God shine through in everything you do and you will be serving the Lord.

Great comment Lori. I too, when I'm at work and want to "cut out early" or sometimes "cut corners" to save time was guilty of this because I didn't think anything of it; until I read this verse. Now I have a whole new attitude! We all should!
