How many times have a gone back to something the Lord had told me to stay away from? I must remember, Tim Keller's quote, that "every time I obey God, He is protecting me from something I was not aware of!" Ego driven decisions to promote myself - craving the praise of man - wanting to exalt myself, the list goes on! God forgive me. Help me not go back that way again. Amen.
