God speaking to Moses instructing Aaron to light the lamp stand. Aaron was the peoples representative to God. So now as Christian we haves the light of Jesus in us, so let our light shine.

I thought of Mother Theresa when I read this verse. She was dedicated to the poor and the destitute, that was her calling and also so many missionaries serving the poor and bring God message of love. God is asking for people that He has put that gift in their heart to serve.

God's special recipe for this oil for anointing, must have smelled beyond beautiful. God using our sense on smell as a reminder He is with us and love us.

Slaughter it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then splash blood against the sides of the altar.

Blood is put on Aaron ear, thumbs and toes. Ears to listen to God's words, thumbs that I would do what I heard and toes to follow Him.

I can enter the Holy Place and God sees and knows my heart, and He knows my name. God's love is so great. I think this show Gods' heart for us. He wants that personal relationship with each one of us.
