Exodus 28:29
"Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision as a continuing memorial before the Lord.

Each of the twelve stones on the breast piece had the names of the twelve tribes. The high priest represented the nation before the living God. Today, our High Priest is representing us before the throne of God. He is interceding for us. Thank You, Jesus, for all you do for us!

Key phrase: He will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart. God gave precious stones to the high priest to wear one each for the Tribes/sons of Israel as a memorial to remind each person, that are all different in every way, that they are like precious stones to Him and that He won't forget them. Isaiah 44:21 "Remember these things, Jacob, for you Israel, are my servant. I have made you, you are servant; Israel, I will not forget you. As Christians, as children of God we might not have precious stones, we have the precious Blood of Jesus as a Reminder, as we partake. Of The Lords Supper, we remind ourselves the sacrifice that was made for our sins.

Well expressed Peter. We are so bless since the death and resurrection of Christ, that we as believers, do not have to have a priest enter on our behalf but can come before the Lord on our own. Once again, be blessed of the Lord as we enter a new week, Peter.

The Precious Jewels over the Heart on the breast piece, a memory of the Sons of Israel His chosen people, even though that each one is different in every way, they are still precious to Him, God always has His people on His Heart, He will never Forget them. Isaiah 44: 21 "Remember these things, Jacob, for, you Israel, are my servant; Israel, I will never forget you."

Aaron was to carry the names of the twelve sons of Israel on his shoulders and on his breastpiece (over his heart) as a reminder of the covenants made with them.

just thinking how God fashioned each of us for a purpose, and so creatively and beautifully to bring honor to God. Loving the Lord and His Precepts and statutes mean so much to the believer. And let's consider what we are clothing ourselves in (both physically and spiritually)...does it bring us dignity and honor?

I can enter the Holy Place and God sees and knows my heart, and He knows my name. God's love is so great. I think this show Gods' heart for us. He wants that personal relationship with each one of us.
