All the other articles used in the service of the tabernacle, whatever their function, including all the tent pegs for it and those for the courtyard, are to be of bronze.

Everyone is involved in making the Tabernacle. Everyone doing their part, using their gifts. Unity and making it personal at the same time.

I think we are almost done! I wonder if the Israelites were glad to be making this house for the Lord and were doing it with joy or were they looking at it as "work". just a job. If you were there, what would your attitude have been? I think I would have enjoyed doing this, and seeing the final result. The work gave them something to do while out there for 40 years. I haven't seen how long it actually took to make everything ... probably some years?

It always amazes me, Allan, where they got all these materials and such as they were traveling in the wilderness for those 40 years, unless it was form what the Egyptians gave them when they left. Yet it hardly seems there would have been enough, so they must have done some mining of the bronze and such and perhaps there were wild olive trees for the oil. Just my inquisitive mind..!!!

They plundered the Egyptians when they left when God gave them favour. They asked and the Egyptians gave them everything. Quite unbelievable! (Not reallt!) The Egyptians probably acted as if they were under a hypnotic spell although I don't believe God would use that technique. They left Egypt being very rich in gold and jewels and animals and stuff.
