Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
Heavenly Father, the God of Hope, may we not lean on our own understanding, but place all trust in you. Lord as we face the day, may we remember your thoughts toward us are of peace and not of evil. Lord, fill us with the Joy of the Lord, which is our strength and eternal peace which is given from Jesus Christ. My our hearts overflow with your hope by the power of th Holy Spirit. May others reconize the Spirit of Lord is with us. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. May there be liberty given to others. In Jesus name, Amen.

Romans 14:4
Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

Donna M.
Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
There have been times in my life, I felt as if the entire world was against me. It felt as if there were stones being cast upon me while my storm in life just kept raging more out of control. Oh the look in the eyes of the world, the frown upon its face, and the negative words which spued from its mouth seem to trying to knock me down on my face. There were times I felt like falling down from lack of strength or maybe just not wanting to face what us ahead of me. My soul was restored with the joy of the Lord, which is my strength as the Spirit of the Lord reminded me: For the Lord is able to make them stand... Then I wasn't able to fall down if I wanted too..I wasn't able to let go and quit, For His mercy and grace kept me...in His Hand.. Thank you sweet Jesus

Romans 13:14
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
Donna M.
Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
Have Jesus dwelling inside the heart, until I'm clothe with Jesus on the outside. Then others may see the Coat of Light, Amour, and Righteousness of Jesus Christ. With such coat, cover, protection, and comfort, I will be thankful and not worry about fulling my personal wants. I will come to know, and enrich may personal relationship with the Lord God, Jehoviah Jireh, the Lord which provides all my needs.

Romans 12:20
On the contrary:

"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

Donna M.
Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
The Lord which is longsuffering to all, in hopes they may come to repentance through Jesus Christ, teaches us how to submitt as His vessel for this purpose. We can see the enemy is a person without and in need. We are too love them as we love ourselves and Love them as Christ loves us. In so doing it the Way of the Lord, it changes the entire situation. There will be victory in Christ Jesus and Glory to the Heavely Father. Then we shall always be at peace. Unlike when we do it in human nature. we may not give to fill their need, we may watch them die of lack, we may throw stones at them, and we may continue the friction of envy and strive. In this, no man shall gain and there isn't any Glory to the Heavenly Father.

Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!

Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
God is much bigger than we can imagine. God's Truth sheds light to show how small our problems, sickness, stituations, circumstance, trials and tribulations are compared to Him. Therefore, we trust by putting the battle in the Hands of the Lord, there will be Victory in Jesus. For God is Faithful. He Is.

Romans 9:20
But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' "

Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
As a person living with a seizure disorder since the age of 7, it has been hard not to question God and ask 'why?'. I have prayed many times for healing of such and still letting patience have her perfect work. But on that Sunday morning, 5 years ago, I felt betrayed. For God knew my heart and my thoughts and knew how I came to my own understanding. I thought God, the Heavenly Father and I had an agreement. Praying while getting ready for Church, my husband knocked on the door to tell me our 7 year old son was having a seizure. Instantly I screamed with all anger, "NO GOD, NO!!" In the scream, my thoughts of why not went flowing in my mind. "You know this child refuses to medicines. He will not want to swallow it. He will keep having seizures. God, this isn't fair for a child steadfast on being drug free for you." Once we had our son in the E.R., my husband prayed silently. I had to boldly crawl before the Throne of Grace, therefore my prayer was silent. The Lord reminded me, He was in control. It turned out the seizure was caused by a brain tumor, which was removed months later. Our son was prescribed anti-convulsion medication. Many times, I swept pills from under the stove or refrigerator. I asked the Lord to prepare us for what was ahead, however he hasn't had another seizure. Our son has not been taking medication for several months now. When I pray, talk, speak with the Heavenly Father, its with respect. This has changed my prayer attitude toward the Heavenly Father. I learned to be thankful for all things, including seizures. For if it were not for the one seizure, we wouldn't have known of the brain tumor. Therefore When God is in Control, its for His Glory.

Romans 8:15
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
As a mother, it is scary to hear a healthy child yesterday is facing death today. This scare quickly turns into fright as everyone comes with stories, hoping to help. Kind hearted people will give direction of where to go, advice to take, which Doctor is the best, and how fast to get it done. Dealing with the unknown factors of any situations is beyond frightful, this can cause the walls of fear to feel as if they are circling together and closing. Many times, this verse came to my remembrance to cry out, Abba Father.. That God was in control of the situation and there was nothing to fear. God also gave me new sight.. I didn't want to walk down this path in life..God taught me how this was not my path but a pothole in the road which He already place me on..

Romans 7:4
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.
Donna M.
Donna M. from Deridder, LA said:
Including the verses Romans 7:1-3, (Ref. Romans 6:4), Baptism in Christ, we are dead to the world and married to Christ.. We become the Bride of Christ.. Therefore as Christians we are to fully submit our way, life, and truth to Him. We are making a commitment, allowing Jesus to be the Spiritual Leader of the household and knowing Jesus is the head of the church body. To turn back to serve the world would be Spiritual adulty. Remember, we would be dead to the world, no longer one of his own, the world wouldn't be the same. We are alive in Jesus. We belong to him. If one should turn back, and then decided to come home, Jesus full of Grace and Truth will receive them with open arms. All for the purpose that we can have a life full of Love, peace, Joy, gentleness, goodness, meekness, faith, longsuffering, and temperance..the fruit of God.. Without realizing it, we will touch others heart and they will Glorify God the Heavenly Father.

You're so right. We often touch others' lives by our behavior and we don't even realize it. We should always try to live by the fruits of the Holy Spirit. It's a tall order to fill, but we must continue in faith to try and live in a manner pleasing to our Lord

The first verses of this chapter spoke to my heart to describe the personal relationship we have with Jesus. We are bound to him in Life and for eternity. For the Grace and Mercy given, If I where to totally turn away from Jesus and take up living back in the world. The world taking care of his own, I am dead to the world and no longer on of his, nothing in the world would go may way. There wouldn't be peace, any joy, or any other fruit of the Spirit in my life. But Jesus would allow me to return to Him. As a Good Shepherd, He is already looking, found me, walking with me, waiting for to turn around around and say "Jesus, My Lord."
