Isaiah 66:1
This is what the Lord says: "Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?

Isaiah 65:1
"I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, 'Here am I, here am I.'
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, 'Here am I, here am I.'

There are people whom I know that others think I am wasting my time continuing to pray for. Others say, 'they will never change'. Yet, I will never give up hope. I have seen positive changes in some whom others think I waste my time praying for. But it is not up to 'others', it is up to God & His timing. I also believe that prayer is NEVER a waste of time.

Isaiah 64:8
Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.

I love this verse! For He has created each of us with His hand and made each of us unique, yet in His own image.

Isaiah 63:7
I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord,
the deeds for which he is to be praised,
according to all the Lord has done for us—
yes, the many good things
he has done for Israel,
according to his compassion and many kindnesses.

All part of my own testimony of how Christ has truly blessed me over & over. He has brought me to my knees sobbing, several times, feeling so overwhelmed with His blessings. I have felt like Alex Kendrick in Facing the Giants. I could never proclaim enough how great our God is!

Isaiah 62:10
Pass through, pass through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people.
Build up, build up the highway!
Remove the stones.
Raise a banner for the nations.

Remove the stones.
Raise a banner for the nations.

Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,

My best friend, who started out as my Bible study leader years ago, and still continues to help guide me; shared with me, back in October, that he envisions me involved in 'deliverence ministry'. At first I thought, 'ME?!? Yeah right!'. But now I can see it myself and I am very excited about it! :-)

Isaiah 60:18
No longer will violence be heard in your land,
nor ruin or destruction within your borders,
but you will call your walls Salvation
and your gates Praise.

but you will call your walls Salvation

I was quite difficult to choose a verse today. I have a comment for several.
I chose this one bc myself & my children have lived with much violence, ruin & destruction in our lives. Every time I tried to better myself and create a future I would be held back, told I would never make it & that I wasn't good enough. And when whenever they would see me doing well they would make it harder & harder for me to follow through and when that would not work they would cut off all support until I would have to quit(ruin & destroy my borders of capability). Yet now, during this time of breaking free I have grown closer & closer to God.
Even though I am no longer able to work, due to multiple health issues, I am very blessed and I am much more stronger and capable of achieving my goal that I believe God has created me for.

Isaiah 59:21
"As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the Lord. "My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever," says the Lord.
Brooke F. from BENTON HARBOR, MI said:
So why do my children not follow my example? They curse, but I do not. They lie, but I do not. They judge, and I hope I do not. They have hate towards me, but I love them so. If I catch myself doing any of these things I correct myself. I've always supported my children, especially emotionally. I did not grow up with such support, therefore, I make sure they have it. Yet they ignore me, avoid me, etc. I would surely die for them, yet they do not believe that. They choose to follow lies and gossip rather than who they see me to actually be.
I hope and pray that they will open up to the Lord for the first time, or for some, open back up to Him.
Please join me in praying for my children. I have my 1st grandchild who is less then a month old and I want to be in her life very much! I met her once and fell in love. But her dad, my son, had only known about her for a few days yet treats me like I know nothing about babies and is now shutting me out. :-(

Isaiah 58:11
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Brooke F. from BENTON HARBOR, MI said:
The Lord IS guiding me and throughout what some could not take, and I could not before in the way that I have been able to now, God has strengthened me more and more. When I am done wrong and hurt I am able to move on with my head held high. Without a heart of bitterness, anger, rage or revenge. Each time I don't know where I am going, but I know that God does. So in the cold, with my daughter at my side, I know God has a plan. A plan for us not to suffer but to grow and strengthen ourselves with Him. I know this because at the times of not knowing, my heart is peaceful. I am so very thankful. I wouldn't change this feeling within me for anything in the world. I love God and the outpouring of joy from my heart!
I am free now to read his Word & live for Him.

Isaiah 57:10
You wearied yourself by such going about,
but you would not say, 'It is hopeless.'
You found renewal of your strength,
and so you did not faint.
but you would not say, 'It is hopeless.'
You found renewal of your strength,
and so you did not faint.
Brooke F. from BENTON HARBOR, MI said:
I have changed so much through God. I have much more strength now and I don't let others bring me down. I believe that God will provide and the enemy will NOT win. I focus ahead and not look back. For Christ will see me through and protect me from all those who have hurt me.
