Yes, Lord, You are our Father and You formed us with Your hand and we who have received Your gift of eternal life are forever grateful that You paid the price, through Jesus Christ Your son. Help us, Lord, to be obedient to Your great commandment which sums up all the others: Mat 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (38) This is the first and great commandment. (39) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (40) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Yes, we are the clay and God is the potter and He will mold us into what He wants us to become. I once took a course in pottery making and one of the first things that I learned was that not all clay was equally easy to form into the final product, some clays took a lot more work on the potter's wheel than other clays did, some clays contained small rocks and other impurities that had to be worked out of the clay first before it could shaped into a beautiful vessel. People are a lot like that lumpy clay and God has to work the impurities out of us before He can mold us into beings worthy to enter the Kingdom as one of the King's kids. He definitely had His work cut out with me! I was real lumpy clay!

Well said brothers, and this old lump of clay had lots of rocks and grit in it, and actually, if I'm honest, still does but He's still workin' on me. Thank You, Lord, for Your patience. Amen

Isaiah 64:8 Yet You, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand. The Lord is our Father and we are His children. Just like we are the parents to our children. And when they are doing something wrong and have been bad, do we stop loving them? NO! We show them what they have done wrong and we correct them for it. As parents it is our job to show them the way and teach them and mold them into wonderful adults with love and compassion and to be kind to others. And just like our children, we are children of God, and He is showing us the way and teaching us and molding us into wonderful godly adults with love and compassion and to be kind to others as well. And when we do something bad, He is merciful and just to forgive us for what we have done. NO ONE is perfect, but through Jesus, we are being perfected little by little each day. With every little bit of faith and trust that we put into Him everyday and stand our ground in the Scriptures of His Word, we are being molded by our Father's hand. When we mess up we don't just lay there and wallow in our mistakes, we are to get up, shake it off, ask Him to forgive us, do our best to learn from this, and move on praising the Lord for His mercy and grace and forgiveness! Just like our kids are the clay in our hands and we are their potter that shapes and molds them, WE are God's kids and we are the clay in His hands and He is our potter that shapes and molds us! Thank You Father God for knowing that we make mistakes and we are bad sometimes. Thank You that You are here to shape and mold me into perfection for You little by little each and every day so that when I get to Heaven I will be just perfect in every area for You!! AMEN
