God presented his people with rules concerning cleanliness. He loved them and didn't want them to become unclean themselves by their diet.

To follow the 10 commandments. They were written and given to us for our own good. Moses and Aaron and his sons were obedient. That is good for them. Not sure how it would relate to us in this generation and time period though.

or whatever it was they swore falsely about. They must make restitution in full, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the owner on the day they present their guilt offering.

That when we realize we have guilt, to atone and then add a fifth of the value and give it back to owner. Admittance of guilt , restitution . Makes a person think about restitution before they sin. Unfortunately many people don't, we act on our "feelings " a lot of the time, and many times we get in trouble.

This verse regarding guilt even if committed unintentionally they are found guilty. It is important to obey the 10 commandments and Jesus command of love one another. Admitting guilt I think is a way to healing, making atonemnet repetance ammends for wrong doing.
