The centurion demonstrated great faith, totally trusting that his servant would be healed without Jesus even laying hands upon him, or, even seeing him. Therefore, he was rewarded for his great faith, and his servant was healed. Lord, help me/us to have that great faith, as the centurion had, that I/we may totally trust in You, in our, or, others time of need, that we may see Your miraculous power, as a witness to those who do not yet know You, as Lord and Savior. Amen

Amen and Amen, Lloyd we both had different verses but came away with the same conclusion. The Centurion had Great Faith, Faith in Jesus. Be Blest and continue to walk in the Grace of God, my brother.

Amen, Jonathan. I have personally seen numerous miracles by the hand of the Lord, most through another believer but a few through my own prayer to Jesus. I watched my own wife's left leg grow over half an inch in 60 seconds a few years ago when a young Spirit filled pastor prayed over her, after he received a word of knowledge. Another time two discs that had been visibly out of place from an injury as a teen, were totally re-aligned in her back. He's an awesome God and limitless in power and love. God bless

The centurion understands something about kingdom authority. Even though he's a man with authority, he approaches Jesus with humility to make his request. The Father always hears His Son.

Praise God. And in this verse, when the centurion says, ' i also am a man subject to authority', it took me back to yesterday's reading in Mt. 7:29- here Jesus IS authority. As hard of a concept it is to grasp of being authority itself, the centurion used the fraction of what he understood as authority and its power and applied it. Praising God for having favor!
