Job 29:4
Oh, for the days when I was in my prime,
when God's intimate friendship blessed my house,
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
Here we see Job reflecting on the good days when he had an intimate relationship with God. Job in his times of suffering and challenges Job still desired to have an intimate relationship with God. And as Christians living in the challenges in our lives today, be like Job and desire a strong relationship with God, and listen to His word.

Job 28:28
And he said to the human race,
"The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
and to shun evil is understanding."
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
The source of Gods wisdom comes from above. Wisdom is the result of fearing God and reverencing Him. Giving reverence to God makes us wise. As Christians we must stand in awe of the greatness of God and His limitless attributes so that we may become truly wise. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to you.

Job 27:6
I will maintain my innocence and never let go of it;
my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live.
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
The human conscience, is the voice of the human spirit. God gave man a conscience, and we have the ability to discern right from wrong. And today as Christians we must rid ourselves of a guilty conscience that the work of the cross provided us. The cross is our victory over a guilty conscience, let the Blood of Jesus flow from the cross cleans us once and for all of a guilty, and shameful and condemning conscience. The Cross is our victory!

Job 26:14
And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper we hear of him!
Who then can understand the thunder of his power?"
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
We will never understand the mind of God, we might not understand the things we go through, pain, tribulations, but we must continue to trust in God. God remains in control, therefore we must trust Him even if we don't understand.

Job 25:4
How then can a mortal be righteous before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
A mortal man can't answer this question, man can not make himself righteous, only God can. A self righteous man will be rejected by God. God is Holy, God is just, God is perfect. It is God that justifies. Romans 3:24 and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Job 24:22
But God drags away the mighty by his power;
though they become established, they have no assurance of life.
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
The wicked have no assurance for Eternal Life, Eternal Life is a gift of God, for those who do God's will and God's will is to believe and trust in Jesus Christ His only Son.

Job 23:10
But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
Key words: When He has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Here we see Job tested/disciplined by God, Job believed God would see him through this ordeal, and that he would come out better person. Job never gives up trusting God, there is Triumph Over Trials. As Christians if we stick to our faith in God as Job did, even in our darkest days we can over come our trials, just like gold refined in a fire.

Job 22:22
Accept instruction from his mouth
and lay up his words in your heart.
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
What better way to be counseled by God, Meditate on Gods word Daily, and to keep in constant communication with Him in the ways he has appointed. Psalm 119:11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Job 21:33
The soil in the valley is sweet to them;
everyone follows after them,
and a countless throng goes before them.
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
This verse is telling us the wicked will have their day. There punishment is sure to happen may be not in this life time. Today this world is broken because of wickedness, where the wicked prosper and the righteous suffer. Thank God there will be a day when God makes things right.

Job 20:7
he will perish forever, like his own dung;
those who have seen him will say, 'Where is he?'
Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
Success of the wicked man is temporary, no matter if they are rich and famous or how secure they will be, the wicked person will eventually perish. Isaiah 48:22 "There is no peace for the wicked," says the Lord.
