Job 23:10
But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

Found this In a commentary by David Gadzuik i. With wonderful faith, Job seemed at this fleeting instant to understand what he could and should in his present crisis. He understood that: - God still observed Job carefully and had not forgotten him (He knows the way that I take). - God had a purpose in the crisis, and the purpose was not to punish Job (when He has tested me) - God would one day bring the trial to an end (I shall come forth) - God would bring something good would from it all (I shall come forth as gold) - God still valued Job; only precous metal is put through the fire (as gold) Job still had tremendous faith. He knew that God was still for him and not against him. He also firstly just longed for the presence of God not restoration or healing he longed to see and feel God. If his faith was not strong he simply would just pray for healing. Bringing God into the center and wanting his presence shows he is surely a child of God. Also in his searching for God to the north east south and west in the commentary it made light that possibly he should have looked up. Just a little humor but true keeping our head up and forward in times of trouble with positive thoughts and mind set can lead us straight to God. Don't get turned in all directions looking for God just look up and outward.

Job 23:10
But he knows the way that I take;

Key words: When He has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Here we see Job tested/disciplined by God, Job believed God would see him through this ordeal, and that he would come out better person. Job never gives up trusting God, there is Triumph Over Trials. As Christians if we stick to our faith in God as Job did, even in our darkest days we can over come our trials, just like gold refined in a fire.

Job is assured of his righteousness, and yet does not understand this supposed judgment against him, yet he does not know that it is not God's judgment but Satan's attack that he has been under, as God was assured that Job would not fail. Lord, give me the steadfast walk that Job has demonstrated, even in his time of persecution. Amen

" when he has tested me ,I will come forth as Gold" There is Hope in the midst of trials, but even if we don't get the right answers it still draws us closer to God.

Once again, Peter, my post would not take but seeing I chose the same as you, I'll make my comment under yours. Job was assured that he had done no wrong but did not understand why God was putting him under judgment, yet h did not know that it was not God's judgment but Satan's attack as we know. However Job stood firm in his trust in God. Lord, help me to stand firm in You as Job did, even when I don't realize the reason. Amen. God bless you brother Peter.

This is personal in my life. I feel I have been tested many times, and each time, I have grown closer to God in believing in Him. I have learned better to give it all to God and come out of the struggle as gold.

When people have struggles, they either move closer to God or far from Him. Praise God you drew closer.
