Job 26:14
And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper we hear of him!
Who then can understand the thunder of his power?"

Job was telling his fiends listen what you are doing pulling me down with argument after argument what good is that doing for me or anyone else you have counseled. They were certainly more worried about being right than truly helping Job. We must Speak life into people not judgement!!! Job certainly let them know he understands God and his mighty power and Job knows that his power is way beyond anything that a man can imagine.

We will never understand the mind of God, we might not understand the things we go through, pain, tribulations, but we must continue to trust in God. God remains in control, therefore we must trust Him even if we don't understand.

Job says that God is in control of everything, and is aware of everything. What a mighty God we serve and who loves even me/you. Thank You Lord, that You alone are in control not man.

The Power of God, how can we understand the Power of God, we as humans even with our thoughts can't explain the Mysteries of The Universe. Some of the amazing things God has done we can't explain. Faith is the Key to understanding the Mysteries and Power of God.

Many great verses in this little chapter.--- verse 7, He suspends the earth on nothing. - Wow, this is proof the bible is God’s Word. How long has it taken man to realize this truth. --- vs 13 (KJV) By His Spirit He hath garnished the Heavens. – ain’t that the truth! Even the atheist love to look at the beautiful sky. ---- vs 14 these are but the outer fringes of His works. – To me this is like having to walk through thousands of years of life in total darkness with just 3 little matches that will light your way for a matter of seconds. We only see in part through a glass, darkly. Father in Heaven, forgive me for thinking I know so much when I only have tiny glimpses of Your majestic name. i am looking forward to having all eternity to learn of You.

God thinking, but, as a former flight attendant, the best thing u can do is stay calm and evacuate along with the rest of the passengers. U staying behind would bring more confusion and frustration for the crew, thus the passengers. Also, after evacuating, u would have a perfect opportunity to witness.

Job, in this passage highlights the magnitude of God's power and how He knows and controls all things in His time and for His purpose. However, Jobs assailants were accusing him of great crimes that they had no knowledge of, which of course, Job had not even committed. WE as humans like to find fault and tend to lay the blame on the easiest target, which in this case was Job. Lord, help us to investigate further than what appears on the surface and be sure of our accusations. Help us to seek Your answers, Lord, before we lay blame as was done against Job. Amen

Yes, Lloyd, the devil likes to niggle us with those accusing, judgemental thoughts. For me, I find myself in the middle of them before I even realize it. Then I hafta bring it into captivity, repent and then, God shows me how HE sees it. My goal is to catch it BEFORE I think on it, but especially before I act or speak on it. It's way easier to repent to God who can forgive AND forget than to wound someone and repent, knowing they may forgive but NEVER forget.

What I see here is a great testament to His power and wisdom. As the verse states, we only see the "outer fringe of His works." Can you imagine the greatness of that which is unseen?

The mind and heart we have now isn't able to conceive the unlimited power and beauty of our God. i think we will still be learning about God throughout all eternity. 20 million years from now God will still amaze us with His glory and Majesty.

Job knew a lot about God; but here it appears that he came to the conclusion that I have also come to: the more I know about God, the more I know I don't know about God. We all sit around and wax philosophical about God, and The Godhead sits in heaven, look at each other and laugh...aren't our children cute? Won't it be great when they get here and see thru the glass clearly? Papa God, keep me "right sized" In my thinking. Don't ever let me get too big for my britches, thinking I got You all figured out. Show me more of You and how much You love me so I can be love even when I'm feeling unlovely.

God is infinitely powerful, all knowing and ever present. No one can truly fathom God in all His glory. We see a glimpse of Him in Jesus. We can experience a portion of His love, grace, protection, provision, healing, etc. But He is so much greater and has so much more in store for us. Thank you Heavenly Father for all you have done for me. Direct my steps so that I am doing what you want me to do.
