This chapter is one of my favourite chapters in the Bible and it is very hard to select one particular verse. However, the verse selected gives me hope as I look forward to recieving a reward after this life. Knowing this I will gladly work in enhancing the Kingdom of God by sharing God's love with others as I humbly submit myself to God by resisting the schemes and work of the enemy and giving Him all those things that will cause me anxiety. Thank you Lord for loving me and give me that assurance that When You the Chief Shephard, the Guardian of my soul shall appear I have and eternal crown to recieve according to my work here in your vineyard. Thank You Lord!

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

I am commanded to love because of the the powerful effect that love has. If I love as God commands, LOVE will cause my worst enemy to love me. It is reciprocated. Besides, it will cause the world to become a better place where ther will be less fightings and confusion. Peace will become the order of the day. Lord help me to love as you have loved unconditionally.

Thank God for watching over me, listening attententively to my prayer and being my protector, my guardian, my director and my deliverer. He watches over, listens and turn His face against those who seek to do me harm. My God what a GREAT God He is.I am indeed special to God, thank You Lord!

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

This verse means soooo much to me because it tell me that not only am I special to God but that He has choosen me and has called me out of darkness, sin into His wonderful light eternal life. Hallelujah! Thank you Lord for loving and choosing me and all who love you to be a royal priesthood and a holy nation. Help us to be counted worthy of that calling as we daily walk in Your directions and instructions. We are SPECIAL to God.

This veres reminds me that I have been bought with a price, the redeemptive blood of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He is the imperishable one. Thank you Lord!
When my mother gave birth to me she was not able to grant me eternal life because she needed the redeemptive blood of Jesus herself. She was a perishable creature; but Oh how I thank God for sending Heaven's best, the imperishable one to die for me. Thank You Lord, Thank You! I am now anle to live holy through the Living and Enduring Word og God. Praise You Jesus!

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.

This verse gives a direct instruction and says to me that sickness can be physical or spiritual. However, it can be rid of if I believe and follow the instruction by putting my Faith in action. Bless the Lord!
It further tells me that the elders have a powerful mandate; to pray and anoint the physically and spiritually sick in the name of the Lord. This also lends me to believe that the Elders MUST be prayed up and lined up with the Word. Their lives must be example for others to emulate.

Submitting myself to God is the best thing that I or anyone else can do. By so doing I know that I will not only be doing His will but be in His will. Therefore, when I am tempted He will always provide a means for me to escape.Hence I am able to resist the devil who will run from me. Hallelujah! Praise You Lord! I'm yours Lord.

This verse is soooo powerful and true. It reminds me that I should be careful of the words that I allow to escape my lips especially since the tongue is untameable. It can destroy lives.
Lord I purpose in my life with your help and guidance to use my tongue to build lives. I desire to reap a harvest of Righteousness.Thank You Lord for your directions.

This verse tells me that it is ok to have Faith. However, Faith alone will not work, it must be activated in order to be beneficial. Lord, please increase my Faith and help me to put positive actions with it as I trust in You. Thank You Lord!

In life if everything is going smoothly all the time something is wrong. As a child of the Most High God i will encounter obstacles, challenges, trials, tribulations in this life.Many times it feels as if I'm going under, but I am admonished that I must count my trials of every kind as pure joy for they come to prepare me, teach me, strengthen me and propel me to my next level in God. They are my tests and unless I pass those tests I cannot move forward or upward to another dimension.
Lord please help me Esther to, with a clear conscience and pure heart to consider my trials of many kinds as pure joy for your Mercy sake. Amen!
