but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

Dear Lord tame my toungue and let it only be used for good towards others and to peaise your name. It says in this verse that no man can control the tongue so I pray to you Lord to deliver my tongue from the evilness and poison it might possess. I want to pratse your name and spread your word according to your will.

This verse is soooo powerful and true. It reminds me that I should be careful of the words that I allow to escape my lips especially since the tongue is untameable. It can destroy lives. Lord I purpose in my life with your help and guidance to use my tongue to build lives. I desire to reap a harvest of Righteousness.Thank You Lord for your directions.
