I wish we still had this kind of endurance in the church today. We have many people in the church today that get angry with the pastor if his sermon goes an extra 10 minutes.
The closer it gets to the end of days, the more I long to spend more and more time with him and doing his will. Longing to hear the words "Well done good and faithful servant, enter thou into the kingdom of the lord!

Something I used to struggle with is giving to the Lord out of my excess, if I had enough left over. He however clearly shows us we need to give him the best, our first fruits, (without defect). He doesn't want us to give something unimportant or something that we might have thrown away anyways. We need to always give to God our very best!
