Amen......that was a hard scripture for me as well until our fellow brothers and sisters relayed to me what they are telling you....to put God (Jesus) first in our lives....that makes more sense then "hate" those we love.....God Bless you Karin!

The New Living Translations says it this way ""If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison--your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even your own life.
