Luke 21:34 – It is so easy to get caught up in this world. I find it interesting that dissipation, drunkenness and the worries of life are listed together. They interact with each other. The worries of life cause people to drink and get drunk. Drunkenness causes dissipation and dissipation causes us to worry. We must not grab all the gusto we can as the beer companies advertised. We must give our time, talent, treasure to the Lord as the clock is ticking, and we are running out of time. Father in Heaven, help me make the most of each day by reading Your Word, talking to You as You talk to me and serving You cheerfully with all my heart. You have given me so much and like the prodigal son, I have squandered it. Here is my heart Lord, please just keep it.
