Psalms 120:1
I call on the Lord in my distress,
and he answers me.

It is good to know that our Lord always hear His children's cry for help. It does not matter what type of problems we are going through. The person in this psalm was living on the wrong side of the "tracks." His neighbors where telling lies about him..They wanted war while he wanted to live at peace. But the Lord loves His people. He is able to either fix the circumstances or help us to patiently endure the problem. Whatever way He decides, He will receive all the glory. Amen..

Psalms 119:165
Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.
Ruth H.
Ruth H. from St Louis, MO said:
We are told in this Psalm that the WORD of God endures forever, it stands firm in the heavens and His Word is true. The Lord Jesus tells us that whenever a person hears and obeys the WORD of GOD, that person would be like a wise man who builds his life on the ROCK. When the problems of life comes in his life, when the streams of disappointments rises, and the winds of persecutions blew and beat against him; he will NOT stumble and fall into sin. Why, because that person had build his foundation on the solid ROCK of the WORD of GOD, (Matthew 7:24-25 paraphrased.) We too will be blessed by the Lord, He will give us great peace, and nothing, no nothing can make us sin our God when we are living our lives according to the WORD of GOD, amen.

Yes, Our great God has done mighty things for us. He made His light shine upon us. He is with us.. He is our helper. He has set us free. He has given us a new day to rejoice and be glad. He is our strength and our song. His love for us endures forever. Finally, He is our God, that is why we should continually give thanks and praises to Him for He is good to us, amen..

Psalms 117:2
For great is his love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Praise the Lord.

It is so wonderful to know that God LOVES us ever when we were sinners, Romans5:8. And because "Christ LOVED us and gave Himself up for us," (Ephesians 5:2), in the near future, every knee will bow to Him, every peoples and nation will praise His Name, and all will confess that Christ Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father, Philippians 2:10-11. Amen,

Amen, Ruth. And it's so simple; Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Psalms 116:12
What shall I return to the Lord
for all his goodness to me?
Ruth H.
Ruth H. from St Louis, MO said:
Yes, all God's children can all say, "The Lord is good to us." He knows how to help us. When there is great trouble and sorrow in our lives, the Lord alone can dry the tears of sadness from our eyes, and even fix the problem. When our feet are about to stumble into sin, He is there to help us to be victorious. Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we can fear no evil because the death of God children brings glory to His name. Amen! So what can we return to the Lord for all His goodness to us? We can LOVE HIM completely. We can always CALL UPON HIS NAME, We can REST IN HIS LOVE, and GIVE HIM THANKS, and PRAISES continually.. Amen..

Psalms 115:1
Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.

Our God is good to His children. He is able, willing and He wants to bless us. He can help us because He created us. He loves us with an everlasting love. He knows us and He remembers everything about us, Therefore, we should always praise the name of our Lord. We should trust Him completely. We should be faithful to Him, and love Him with all of our heart, with all our soul. and with all our mind. The Lord promises to bless us when we give Him the first place in our lives. He is the Almighty God who made the heaven and the earth. He is not an idol, therefore, we can trust Him. Amen..

Psalms 109:30
With my mouth I will greatly extol the Lord;
in the great throng of worshipers I will praise him.

The Lord God Almighty will always be there to help His children. He made His Son, the Lord Jesus, become victorious over all His enemies. God will stand at the right hand of those who are in need, of those who receive hatred and cursing for showing kindness to others, and etc. We can always depend on Him to help us because of His great love for us.Theses are some reasons why we can joyfully praise the holy name of of our great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, amen!.

2 Chronicles 32:8
With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles." And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.

Ruth H.
Ruth H. from St Louis, MO said:
When we do what is right, we can have total confidence that the Lord Almighty will help us. We need to be like King Hezekiah. 2 Chronicles 31:20-21 tells us that everything that Hezekiah did while he was king of Judah, including what he did for the temple in Jerusalem, was right and good. He became a successful king because he obeyed the Lord God with all his heart. In chapter 32, God tested Hezekiah's faith by sending the Assyria army to invade Jerusalem. The king of Assyria said to King Hezekiah, "Believe me, your God cannot keep you safe from the Assyrian army. But, Hezekiah was able to have confidence in the Lord because he did all the right things. He had his workers repair the broken walls, and make a large supply of weapons. He encouraged the people by telling them that they had the Lord on their side who would fight the battle for them. Then Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah prayed to the Lord for victory over their enemies. Their confidence in the Lord God became a reality when the Lord sent an angel who killed every soldier in the enemies camp and allowed Sennacherib to be killed by his own sons. Plus, on top of all this, God gave Hezekiah fame and riches. WOW! We too can live brave, courageous and victorious lives when we build our lives on the solid rock, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Amen!

2 Chronicles 31:21
In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.
Ruth H.
Ruth H. from St Louis, MO said:
Everything Hezekiah did while he was king of Judah, including what he did for the temple in Jerusalem, was right and good. He was a successful king, because he obeyed the Lord God with all his heart. He was faithful to the Lord his God as he assigned priests to serve at the Lord temple and providing animals for sacrifices in worshiping the Lord. Therefore God blessed Hezekiah and caused him to prosper. But, thank the Lord, we can see in this chapter that the people who were faithful to the Lord were also blessed by the Lord. The priests and Levites, plus their wives and children who had been faithful in keeping themselves clean and acceptable in order to serve the Lord, were blessed when they received part of an abundant amount of free will offerings given by the ordinary people. The ordinary people were blessed when Hezekiah blessed them and thanked the Lord for the abundant amount of sacrifices the people provided to be given to the priest and Levites so that the priest and Levites will have time to devote themselves to the work of the Lord. Everyone in Judah was blessed by the Lord because they destroyed all the foreign idols in their territory. We also will be blessed and have great success if we faithfully obey the Lord and serve Him with all our hearts. Remember that we are victorious winners in Christ, May we fix our eyes on Jesus, alone. Amen!

Revelation 18:4
Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

" 'Come out of her, my people,'
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

Ruth H. from St Louis, MO said:
Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Can someone who is good get along with someone who is evil. Leave them, and stay away from them. then I will welcome you and be your Father. You will be my sons and my daughters. My friends, god has made us these promises. So we should stay away from everything that keeps our bodies and spirits from being clean. We should honor the Lord and try to be completely like Him. 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1
