I wish I could undertand the book of Revelations better. Does anyone know of a book that I could read that would help me to better understand it. The desire of my heart is to better understand God's Word so that I can live my life more pleasing to my Lord.

I'm with you on that one, Patsy. Revelation is the most difficult book of the Bible to wrap my head around, and obviously I'm not alone. I believe there is a lot of symbolism in it but I have not sorted it all out. God bless.

God calls to his people and wants to welcome them, regardless of where they are now. Let everyone you know that they can turn to the Lord. Jesus loves them no matter what their past. He is our Lord of the future. And a bright future at that.

So true, Henry, and quite often those who have come out of the worst backgrounds and past turn out to be the best promoters of the gospel. I have seen it several times. I have a personal friend who drove 1500 miles to make a drug deal and got radically saved, dumped all his drugs, disposed of his alcohol and quit his martial arts training. He is the most in your face evangelist and caring helpful person I know. He's not the least bit timid when it comes to sharing his faith and professing Christ. He's only one of several I've met but this one is a personal friend.
