Although it seems that Our Lord's blessings have stopped as we see what is happening in the world it is a comfort to know that if we lift our hands and give Him the praise He deserves H will continue to bless us.

How exciting it is to be blessed by the maker of heaven and earth. How proud I am to call him father.

We praise you Lord. Thank you for your blessing on us as we serve you in the ministries you have given us. Continue to lead and bless O lord and make yourself known to those who do not know you let. Fill us with your love to love others and share your good news.

I was listening to some worship music while doing some stuff around the house and all of a sudden, I got all teary eyed and gushy. I got this revelation from God about how big and strong God must be to be able to make all of heaven and earth, yet He was able to squish Himself into a human suit and come down here and walk among us. How strong He was to endure all the temptations and rejection, to overcome the scandal of illegitimacy, to sit there and not defend Himself to those holding the sorry excuse for a trial. But He had been in Heaven for at least 4,000 years and knew what it was like up there. He had the actual experience of knowing how short a humans life here on earth is. He knew that it would all be over soon and He'd be back in Heaven with His Father. How strong He must've been to go down to Hell and defeat the Eph 6 Kingdom, then once again come back to earth, looking the same but being different. The most amazing thing about it is that John, who was the closest to Him, didn't even recognize Him when He appeared to Him in His glorified body in Revelation, yet he saw Jesus change into some sort of glowing form on the Mount of Transfiguration. He's so strong that He's able to make Himself into anything He wants. He's so strong that He can be patient with these little blobs of clay that puff themselves up thinking they're so smart and strong because they have beauty, money or power that He allowed them to have. He's so strong that He can love even the vilest of sinners, yet be just enough to judge perfectly. He's so strong that He could actually turn His back on His son and allow all the sins of the world to fall upon His only beloved son. He's so strong that He knows the end from the beginning and be patient. It takes GREAT strength to be patient. It's easy to fly off the handle and get offended and angry. How easy it it to sit behind someone at a traffic light, they don't go, and you don't honk your horn to lovingly make them aware of their Transgression? How much strength does it take to remember that most of what we get upset about today won't matter tomorrow? Oh Papa God, give me the vision that in the light of eternity, only what You see as important is what needs to be important to me. Allow me to see Your Grand plan for not just the world, but also for little ole me.

Receive your blessings, your great gifts from God the maker of heaven and earth

When I stop to think about how huge the heavens are, I realize that God must be even BIGGER than that. Its an awesome thought, but it makes me think about His love for me. If someone as small as I am, compared to the heavens, is so blessed by God, then I must really be loved by Him.
