Amen Hal yes it is not easy to listen because there are so many distractions in our life. But daily we put on the Full Armor of God as it is in Ephesians 6 and raise the Sword of Truth/Spirit of God which is His Word, and take up the Shield of Faith which You(we) can Extinguish all the Flaming Arrows(Distractions) of the evil one. God promises us wisdom all we need to do is Listen to Him. God's voice can be heard anywhere and every where, we need to seek Wisdom and Live well, especially through reading His word daily.

Who you choose to listen to determines how you will live. Will you listen to the wisdom of man or the wisdom of God? Man thinks his wisdom is valuable to learn but the trouble is in the end, man's wisdom leads to destruction. God's wisdom is eternal. It is found in His Word and it leads to eternal life. The choice is there but be careful who you follow because your eternity is at stake.

The Proverbs are so full of sound advice and wisdom. It wull be difficult to choose only one verse each day. I think of the young men who are following wrong teaching and a wrong god and finding out they are joining ISIS (IS now) and becoming killers and shedding blood. They have been so deceived!
