Mark 3:28
Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter,

Last night, I tried to comment on Mark 3, but my computer died as I hit save. I was really bummed, because I typed a prayer to God asking Him to help me get over the OCD that the devil planted into my soul and to completely reject him and get him out of my life-- I asked God to help me focus only on Jesus. And, even though I lost that prayer, that prayer came directly from the heart, and God helped me today-- He helped me on my journey to focus only on Christ. Thank you, Lord for hearing me and helping me. Please continue to help me reject sin and the devil and focus on You, Your good works, and the many blessings You've given me in my life, especially the ability to know You and my family. Thank you Lord. In His name, Amen.

Praise God that I am ,we are forgiven for all our sins; whether small or big or ugly. I must comment on v.29 also as it concludes v.28. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the ONE unpardonable sin. I did more research on this verse (NKJV, the Complete Study System) in my Bible which states that this is not a onetime occurance! Ayone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit places themselves outside the redeeming grace of God. This is a continual state of mind entered into willfully. The things Christ spoke and the works he did were of the Holy Spirit. To believe they are the work of Satan is to say that the works of heaven are of hell. In this kind of believe there is no redeeming-driving themselfes past the point of no return. Woe to those with this kind of thinking!! Again, this is not a onetime event but continually thinking and belief.

Praise God for His grace that we are forgiven all out sins. I must comment also on 3:29 as to relate to much to one another. The Unpardonable Sin...upon studying further on this subject, committing this ONE sin, places himself or herself outside the redeeming grace of God. It's appearently not a single act of defiant behavior, but a continued state of opposition entered into willfully; a continued action, not a onetime event. The words and works of Christ were spoken and performed by the power of the Holy Spirit. To attribute them to Satan is to call the work of heaven a work of hell. For such perverse belief there is no remedy. This in turn may put ones self past a point of no retu!! (NKJV, the Complete Nelson Study Bible)

How wonderful it is to know that I am forgiven of all my sins! No matter what kind or how bad or how small. I must agree with Christ about the ONE unpardenable sin, blasphemes against the Holy Spirit. This places oneself outside the redeeming grace of God. Reading more on this subject with my Study Bible, I read that it is not a single act of defiant behavior, but a continued state of opposition entered into willfully. It is a continued state of action, not a onetime event. To insult Christ and His work or by attributing it to Satan is to call the work of heaven a work of hell. It also stated that with such perverse beliesf there is no remedy. This person (s) is putting themself past a point of no return! (NKJV the Nelson Complete Study Sytem) Again, I repeat it is not a onetime offense, but a continued state of mind.

Again it is there in Jesus' own words how anyone can be forgiven. Its just up to the sinner to accept Jesus and ask for the forgiveness...this again hits close to home because as I am on my journey with the Lord I run across so many who are still in the dark and dont believe that Jesus will forgive who they are or what they have done. I was once in those shoes, and honestly it has taken me 4yrs to come to terms with the fact that I am a child of God and that I am forgiven for my past and that none of that matters anymore. So i know its hard to comprehend in the beginning but I continue to try and reach out to anyone that I can and try to help them to see that The LORD forgives all who come to him.
