In order to make the Gospel more acceptable to themselves, many people pick and choose until they create a "gospel" in which their own sins are not so bad...in which forgiveness takes the place of repentance...a "gospel" which puts them under no obligation to change or to "work out their own salvation". These are the same so-called Christians who think that God will overlook certain WILLFUL sinful behaviors and lifestyles just because He's a loving God. Well, guess what? He's also a just God.
