Luke 2:49
"Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?"

Such a simple statement, and yet, so profound. Jesus just verified that He was planted in Mary's womb by God (Holy Spirit) and He was so simply proclaiming God as His Father. Lord, sometimes we miss the simple things as we look for the unsearchable things. Help us Lord, to see the simplicity of the truths You reveal to us in Scripture. Amen

Jesus was found where he always is, in His Father's house. We spend so much time searching for God and for His peace when it is right here with us if we will only believe and accept.

We never really need to search, if in fact we believe and can feel his presence....life can be a struggle and we at times get so mixed up in the network of challenges that we never really give God a chance to intervene.....Patty, you have expressed this so beautifully...God Bless you!

We too should be about our Father's business. Sharing the Gospel of John and sharing our testimonies about how God has shown up in our lives. Spreading the 'Good News' about a faithful Savior who loves us all.

Knowing and KNOWING are two different things. Mary and Joseph knew that Jesus was special and conceived of the Holy Ghost but they really didn't KNOW that He wasn't their son, He was the Son of God.

We need not search either, for we also know that Jesus is in his and our Father's house. Knowing that he is with our Father and his Father gives us the peace and feeling of contentment that we know where we will be also. With Jesus and God the Father. What a wonderful thought and with that knowledge we can press on though this life serving God as what was intended. It is his will that directs our path, and that path is led by Jesus into the heavens above.
