Mark 4:31
It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth.

This is one of my favorite verses in Mark 4, because if you have the tiniest bit of faith (how good is God to allow us that even the tiniest bit of faith is worth something to him!!) that your faith can grow large and yield usefulness (even a bird can perch on your branches) and that fruit can spring from the tiniest seed, tiniest bit of faith. :)

Jesus was obedient to his father and his Purpose on earth. Jesus came to save a world of sinners, obedient to his father's will, and God was pleased with him.

How are you doing Mandy? Do you still feel like God has left you?

Hi Nancy! Great to hear from you, sometimes I feel this way, but am constantly reminded how huge God's love and grace is, I should ask forgiveness for feeling this way. Luckily, I have such a good church and friends, that God has proven himself faithful so many times. My friend prayed with me the other day and she just started sobbing, she said, I sense such a heaviness, and broken heart you have, God is here, he will not leave you and he loves you. She said she just felt the Lord's presence and that she saw a wedding ring circling me. God is so great..I feel he has begun to start good things in my life, restoration and healing. thank you so much for asking me, and thinking about me, it made my day. God bless you Nancy!

Zephaniah 1:7
Be silent before the Sovereign Lord,
for the day of the Lord is near.
The Lord has prepared a sacrifice;
he has consecrated those he has invited.

Be full of reverence, listen, take heed, because soon the Lord is coming back, and only for those who he has set apart, those whose sins have been covered by the blood of Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. God has provided eternal life for those who accept the free gift provided by sweet Jesus.

Habakkuk 3:17
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,

This is what I am going through in my life, I feel like God has left me. It means thatwe should still praise God even though we may feel he is not with us, or feel his presence, or see his blessings in our lives, he is still there.

God never leaves us but he does punish his children, sometimes because we forget to give thanks for what we already have. Start giving thanks even in hard times, after all that's when god makes you a better you.

Mandy, I've been there too. Joel and Sue are right. I've found the best cure is gratitude. I made a list of all the things I'm grateful for. I found I can't be miserable and grateful at the same time. I just ask myself if the only thing I woke up with tomorrow morning was what I'm grateful for today, what would I have? The devil is a liar and in him is no truth at all. I hafta bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. There's 2 radio stations: radio God and radio devil. If it doesn't line up with God's a word, it's radio devil. My 2 step program (and it must be done in this order): 1. submit to God 2. Resist the devil and he'll flee. If you try and resist without submitting to God you'll end up like the sons of skiva.
