Habakkuk 3:17
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,

18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,he enables me to tread on the heights. Habakkuk can find no joy in his current circumstances. His pantry is empty and there's no food growing outside with hope of a better tomorrow. But, he can still rejoice in the LORD, because HE is unchanging. Habakkuk didn't just practice positive thinking and shut out the reality of his circumstances, he saw those problems for what they were and remembered that God was greater than them all. Our strength isn't in how much money or preparations we have, but only in the LORD God. It can even be said that what we praise is our strength. If we're in trouble, we can call on our friends, our money, our alcohol, or we can call on God. We demonstrate that the LORD God is our strength when we praise Him. When you're up against a struggle that shatters all your strength and your hopes have been cruelly crushed by Satan's manifested schemes. When you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fears don't let the faith your standing in seem to dissappear. Praise the Lord, He can work thru those who praise Him, praise the Lord. When the chains that seem to bind you serve only to remind you that they drop powerless behind you, when you praise. Him. This is what I am going through in my life, I feel like God has left me. It means thatwe should still praise God even though we may feel he is not with us, or feel his presence, or see his blessings in our lives, he is still there.

God never leaves us but he does punish his children, sometimes because we forget to give thanks for what we already have. Start giving thanks even in hard times, after all that's when god makes you a better you.

Mandy I have been in your place.God is with us even when we can't see or feel Him.We walk by faith and not by site.Rebuke the devil because he is a liar .He is whispering in your ear,but you don't need to accept his lies.Rwmember God said he will never leave you or forsake you.I pray that Gid would allow you to sense His presence and give younHis peace.

Mandy, I've been there too. Joel and Sue are right. I've found the best cure is gratitude. I made a list of all the things I'm grateful for. I found I can't be miserable and grateful at the same time. I just ask myself if the only thing I woke up with tomorrow morning was what I'm grateful for today, what would I have? The devil is a liar and in him is no truth at all. I hafta bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. There's 2 radio stations: radio God and radio devil. If it doesn't line up with God's a word, it's radio devil. My 2 step program (and it must be done in this order): 1. submit to God 2. Resist the devil and he'll flee. If you try and resist without submitting to God you'll end up like the sons of skiva.
