Is that not what God said it would be like?. Aren't we to toil all the day of our life, because of Adam and Eves fall? What is a referents I can go to?

For me, this is saying that we know we have to work in order to be able to have the things we need in life. You have to work and work hard at trying to pay your bills and have a home and food on your table, BUT we have to look at it as it is GOD who really is helping us and supplying us with these things. Solomon is living in sin right now and he is always looking at the negative parts of his life. He is saying that life and everything about life itself is meaningless and it doesn't matter. It is meaningless and it really doesn't matter if we do not have God at the center of our lives. HE has to be first, HE has to be trusted and leaned on in order for us to have a good and happy life in this world. Without GOD, it all really is pointless because what the devil is putting in our minds it is worthless. But we know he is a liar! God does help those who wants to help themselves, BUT there is a time where we have to realize that IT IS HIM who is in control over it all and we would not have any of it if it wasn't for Him. We have because we work, and we have our trust in Him.

Yes, Gary ditto what Mary said, but I'll add my 2 cents worth. You see people who are workaholics. They work and work and never have time for God, church or their family. Then, when the kids rebel and the spouse leaves, they say, "what happened? " I've never heard of a death bed confession that they wished they'd spent more time working.

As I read Gods Word I know the Sprit that lives in us communicates to us. When God says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. When I read the Bible I can put my faith in it that it is God speaking to me about my walk with Him. When He tells of counseling me with His loving eye on me, I know every moment He knows my every thought, When I get off course He tells me in my heart. He is trying always to help me to walk with Him and not with any other.

I know this chapter show a lesson I alway will remeber. Jesus teaches us to use scripture anytime and every time to fight off the darkness of this world. He used it when He was temped. I can only wonder how it would be to have a angel appear to me in a dream and advise me along my walk with Jesus. I think God sent His Son here to do just that. Gods Word the Holy Bible is the voice of Jesus. As I read I know the Spirit that lives in me is also feeling the comfort of knowing God is talking to me. Thank you Jesus for saving me. I love you.

Joseph was a man that wanted to do what was right. He was goinig to do what He thought was the correct thing to do. But Mary and Joseph were obedient to the Lord. They must have understood that Her Child would be(Jesus,Holy Spirit,Immanuel) Savior of the world. They listened to Gods Angel and did what was wright and brought God into His world so We can be His Children. Thank Lord!
