Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"

Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

The Lord said to Moses,

"Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings the Israelites consecrate to me, so they will not profane my holy name. I am the Lord.

"This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites."

And it was done, as the Lord commanded Moses.
