Salvation shall be universal in the sense that representatives of every culture will be part of God's people in Messiah Jesus. The gospel will win people from around the world. This shows the type of loyalty that the disciples had to the Messiah Jesus. It was "to the death" type of allegiance, They did not agree with the idea of taking the risk to see Lazarus or understand what Messiah Jesus was talking about when HE spoke about raising him from the dead or waking him up. But they had decided that they would follow Messiah Jesus to the death. Lord, may I have such a commitment to you this day. Amen
