Titus 2:15
These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.

Paul has written to Titus, instructing him in the things he should teach, and if necessary to rebuke those who do not follow his instructions. Lord, help me/us to learn from the truth of Your word, and apply them to our lives so that we may be Your lights to the world around us, who do not have Christ in their lives. Amen

Amen Lloyd this is a good teaching chapter, Encouragement and Rebuke are both necessary for us as brothers and sisters in Christ to mature in our Faith. We have the responsible for encouraging one another in our Faith, and we also have the authority to rebuke one another when necessary. And as brothers and sisters in Christ it's always best to love our family and friends to help them identify, confess, and walk away from sin. Gods Grace be upon you and your family in these trying days.

God has given us the simple instruction on how to live our lives. Men, Fathers, Women, Mothers, Children, Masters and Slaves all have the instruction of God we should encourage and rebuke with all authority and not let anyone despise you as you live according to his will. "Then why is it that people will say to you that you have not lived or that you are not living" especially since the Lord has already given these instructions.

This chapter is great! It teaches and backs how the Christian man, Christian woman, Christian mother father, Christian husband and wife, and Christian young man should live and act. Verses 2-8 these are also parts of sound doctrine cause as i said they go along with sound Christian doctrine. The attributes mentioned in these verses i'd say also go to how the pastor should act and behave. Then this chapter closes with a perfect and clear picture of the Gospel verses 11-14, It was hard to pick out a verse but verse 15 perfectly sums it all up from verse 1 to 14, in saying this is how you should live and teach Encourage all, love all, and dont let anyone kick you down. Great hope and love in ALL these verses.

This whole chapter shows what needs to be taught to the younger generation, and when this was being taught instruction was needed for the older generation too, so that those things would be passed on to future generations. This, I believe, is where many have failed. There are so many young people who have little or no respect for their seniors but it is in large part, the senior generation who have failed to teach and command respect. When we loose a generation it is a challenge to reestablish what was lost in that one generation.

I agree Lloyd, if every taught and lived by these verses this nation would be in better shape and so would the church.
