Jesus, the Lamb of God is worthy of our praises. In this chapter the Lord God had a scroll that had writings on both sides and was sealed in 7 places. John cried because no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was worthy to open the scroll or to see what was inside it. Then an elder said to him, "Stop crying and look! The one who is called both the 'Lion from the Tribe of Judah' and 'King David's Great Descendant' has WON THE VICTORY!! He will open the book and it's seven seals.... The Lamb looked as if He had once been killed." After the Lamb took the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat on the throne, the 4 living creatures and the 24 elders knelt down before Him and sang a new song saying, "You are worthy to receive the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed..". May our appreciation for the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world grow greater every day. Amen! (CEV)

To him who sits on the throne (God) and to the Lamb that was slain (Jesus) they are to be praised, and honored and they shall have glory and power, for ever and ever! God and Jesus have the power and honor because God gave his only begotten son to save us, and Jesus was bestowed with honor praise and power by the God for loving us enough to die for our sins that we might believe in him.

I wonder what it will be like when we all get to heaven and see Him Who sits on the throne, and to see Him - the Lamb who was slain for our redemption.One song writer put it this way: When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be; when we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!

Jesus is the Lamb and only He is worthy.to receive power and wealth and strength and honor and glory and praise for ever and ever. Those who don't know Him yet do not understand this. He is worthy because only He can satisfy God's wrath and pay the penalty for the sins of mankind with His shed blood. He knew no sin. Believe in Him. Put your trust in Him.
