Revelation 12:12
Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short."

Rejoice because our Lord Jesus is returning to rule this earth with a rod or iron. Now is the time to seek salvation before it is to late. The signs are here already. Praise and honour our great and wonderful God.

Key portion of this verse is "He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short." We see Satan working overtime in these last days, as he tries to draw all people into his devastated, corrupt system which will be cast into the Lake of Fire in the end. "Rev 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. (15) And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire." Satan will surely end in the Lake of Fire.

Amen Lloyd you expressed this very well, satan is working overtime, because he knows his time is short. As your verse stated there was Great Joy when satan was banished from Heaven. May the Spirit of God Guard your Heart.

Satan is filled with fury because he knows his days are numbered. We must stay strong and together teaching about God to everyone.

In the time of the Great Tribulation Satan is even more determined to bring pain and agony on followers of Christ. He knows his time is short. We Christians need to be on guard standing strong in our faith.

The devil knows his time is very short, therefore, he will do anything he possibly can to start a war against God's people who love and obey the Lord. (Revelation 12:17b.) At the beginning of this chapter John saw something important appeared in the sky. It was a woman whose clothes were the sun. The moon was under her feet, and a crown made of 12 stars was on her head. She was about to give birth to a son who would rule all nations with an iron rod. A huge red dragon appeared in the sky. He was the devil who wanted to eat the Child as soon as it was born. But God, in His wisdom, provided for the Child and his mother. The Child was snatched away, taken God and placed on His throne. The woman ran into the desert to a place that God had prepared for her. God provided for the woman for 1,260 days. The devil is angry at God and His saints, because the the devil knows his time is short. But, praise God, the children of God defeated Satan because of the precious blood of the Lamb, and the Word of God. (Revelations 12:11) We have the victory in the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Satan has been given much power by the Father but his time will come to an end. That is why we have to strive on while we still have time. He will do much damage but we who follow the Lord will win. Father God thank you for the faith You have given to me and may it continue to increase.

This explains the devils disposition and why he wants as many souls as possible and does not care what he has to do to get them.

So true, Stephen, and I believe that is where we are warned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 that there will be a falling away. We may very well come to some great persecutions but will conquer if we remain true to Christ. God bless.
