I tell you what, There's no better way to learn scripture than by putting it to music. After all these years, I can sing all those scripture songs, mostly from the psalms that Maranatha Music put out. Chuck Smith knew what he was doing when he began that ministry. He listened to God, obeyed and the fruit is still producing fruit in multitudes of lives. Lord Thank You for the Calvary Chapel ministry You brought forth from that man. He opened up the doors of his church to all the hippies, when all the other churches were pointing fingers and looking down their noses at them. They came in in droves, feeling the love and acceptance of Jesus thru Pastor Chuck. A lot of them were musicians and God took that talent and redeemed itb for His glory and churches have really never been the same. Thank You for all the Calvary Chapel ministers all over the world that You raised up from that amazing seed. Thank You for revolutionizing the church to more Bible reading and teaching. He's gone from us to be with You now, but his fruit will proceed long after him.
