Proverbs 10:19
Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues.

I am always wanting to defend myself. I have learned that it is far better to simply listen, apologize and ask for forgiveness. God will defend me, I do not need to justify myself because He has already sent His Son. If I keep my eyes on Jesus everything falls into place. It is when I lose focus that situations escalate. As long as I look to Him who loved me first, it is well with my soul.

I am really trying to focus on what comes out of my mouth! Our words have so much power in them. To hurt or to heal!

Yes, Sharon, I've been praying that God will put a stop sign on my mouth, that I'll not just bring every thought to Christ's obedience, but my words too. That's awesome that John is better and coming home. He'll be back to his ornery self soon, lol. Have him take lots of probiotics to build up the friendly bacteria in his body, after all those mega doses of antibiotics. God bless you, Sharon
