Numbers 7:89
When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.

Can you imagine being so close and speaking with the Lord. I think above all things Moses was given the best gift. Even though he never got to lay eyes on the Lord . He got to speak to him daily and hear him speak back. Yes I pray daily but for Moses it was different

He speaks to us in many ways, but many times our lives are so full of activities that we fail to listen....but I agree with you Tammy....it would have been incredible to experience what Moses did! God Bless you Tammy.

Each tribe gave exactly the same which gave glory to God not one trying to out do the other so they would look better among men. An offering to The Lord is about the heart of the giver not the amount. Giving your best and your all is between you and God not others. Its about giving glory to God not to ourselves among men. It is important to note however these were very generous offering especially coming out of slavery where they were unsure if their next provision. This shows true faith in God and the trust they had in him to be their provider.

It must be wonderful and scarey at the same time to hear the voice of God speak to you.

I had forgotten how this was done. It is good to reread the Scriptures. Aren't you glad the God of creation spoke and interacted with us humans.
