Lord, I too still believe that you can and are willing to heal from a distance. Thank you for passing on this same authority over disease to your disciples. Help us to exercise Your power, in your name, so that God would be glorified in these days. Heal those who seek healing so that would be lifted up and all men would be drawn to you and receive your salvation.

When we act in faith it pleases the Lord. This centurion recognized the authority that Jesus has.Just speak the word and it will be done. The centurion had authority over his servants knowing whatever he said to the servants they would obey hiim. How much more authority does Jesus have over any situations in our lives. Jesus recognized his faith and was amazed.

Jesus points out how rare such faith is to find. We need to believe God's word and have such faith as the centurion had. With God, noothing is impossible.
