Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
The Lord knows all things that are burdensome to us and He instructs us to call out to Him regarding those burdens, and He will relieve our burdens and give us rest. Thank You, Lord, that we can call out to You for relief of those things that are heavy upon our hearts. Amen

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Jesus calls any and all who are burdened with sin and the cares of this world living in self-sufficiency.
Finding rest for your souls echoes Jeremiah 6:16,
Thus says the LORD:“Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.
The yoke of Jesus is easy and light as compared with the yoke of others or the ones we put upon ourselves, as long as we do not rebel against it and doesn't include worries that are forbidden to us.
He bears it with us. If your yoke is hard and your burden is heavy, it isn't His yoke or burden, and you aren't letting Him bear it with you.
Papa God, always remind me that no matter what, if what I'm feeling doesn't line up with Your Word, I'm listening to radio devil and not radio God and I need to be bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

For me this applies..I am weary and burdened..my ex husband has my son with Down Syndrome and will not let me talk to him or have him back. This is troubling me. Also my other son will be deployed to Afghanistan soon. Today I choose to trust you with my children. It isn't easy to release the fear of the "what if's" but I am doing so because I know I can trust you.

Jesus very simply invites you (everyone) to Himself. At some point when we just can't live life in our own strength anymore, hopefully you will accept the invitation to come and receive Him as Saviour and Lord. My prayer for all my family and cousins and their families and also for those that cross my path. May I have beautiful feet to proclaim the Good news.
