Jesus asks us to come be with him in a quiet place. This is when we can usually hear him, when we are alone with him away from the many distractions that crowd our lives. Lord I pray I would take more time to be alone with you, to hear you speak to me and to just rest my mind and body in you.

I don't get the chance often to go to a quiet place, but I love my time in prayer with the Lord. I love night time when I get to read the Bible, think about the verses and pray. I pray that all get some time each day to converse with the Lord.
Lord- I need your help tonight. Please help my fear and look over our children. I know that you are watching over them and taking care of them. Please Lord please, let them be ok. Thank you Lord, for everything. In His name, Amen.

Today, I will keep it short and sweet...this verse simply says, "COMPASSION". Jesus without a doubt continuously shows compassion for the lost, but here He pauses and reminds me that He too shows compassion to His workers. Thank You Jesus for caring for me and providing me rest. Amen.

This is the same statement that we hear today within our hearts that the Holy Spirit is whispering. Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest. When we go to a quiet place with Jesus, we experience rest like no other. Our peace is our Lord and Savior. The quiet space in our lives we experience divine peace. Listen and hear the voice of God.
