My beliefs influence my thoughts which drive my actions. So many of my actions have been based on fear. How many times have I trusted a media report or the opinions of man more that what Jesus has said and promised in the bible? But, my belief in Jesus to be truly effective to drive out fear, must be based on my relationship to Him, not just my belief on what was written in the bible about Him. If I consider what He did for me and all of humanity, then belief in Jesus Christ drives out pride and self-centeredness. It humbles and encourages me. Building my relationship with Jesus Christ in job one! Praise Jesus!

Many times the Lord says to us in the bible. "DO NOT BE AFRAID" it is usually followed by "BECAUSE I AM WITH YOU". Nothing to fear if the Lord is with us and HE IS! Good job Patty and Lloyd, God bless you both.

What a wonderful chapter. The words don't be afraid appears in the Bible 365 times and if that is not enough assurance for us daily.... that God is w/ us everyday.... I don't know what else is. WOW! And "... just believe" is a manifestation of a childlike faith to.... only .... if only ... even faith as small as a mustard seed... can become big.

Faith requires that the power of the Holy Spirit be more persuasive and powerful than any other force. Even amid confusion and distractions the Christian must maintain their conviction in whom and what they believe - Jesus and his word.
