We see here that even Jesus, son of God in human form, was baptised in Holy Spirit before He began His earthly ministry. Therefore, we too need the baptism of Holy Spirit to have an effective walk, and/or, ministry as we progress through life. I believe the only way to receive that Holy Spirit baptism is to seek God by reading His word, praying and asking Him to fill us. I believe that the infilling is a continual refilling, as we are like a bucket with leaks in it and we need to be refilled on a regular basis. Lord, fill us up fresh with Your Holy Spirit each day. Amen

I have the privilege of witnessing someone very dear to me go through a tremendous trial and tribulation and coming out victorious. He conducted himself in a way that is an example to those who were watching. We could not help but be inspired. He was determined that no matter what God would remain first and he would continue to serve Him. One day when I was praying for him the thought came to me " God, you must be so proud of him! is possible for us to please our Father. We can go through the fire without being burnt. We can go in the lions den without being eaten. We can cross the red sea without being drowned. We can go through the storm with peace. We can hear our Father say " in you I am well pleased".
